Facts

Overview
Through truss bridge over San Antonio River on the former CR 123
Location
Karnes County, Texas
Status
Closed to all traffic
History
Built ca. 1940
Design
The two main spans are dissimilar- one pin-connected Pratt through truss, one riveted camelback Pratt through truss. There are also two subdivided Warren pony truss spans leading to the main spans.
It appears that this bridge was constructed at least partially of older parts moved in. the pin-connected Pratt span almost certainly predates 1940.

San Antonio River Bridge

CR 123 was abandoned when this bridge was closed, and has been removed from most maps. At the moment, it is still shown in Google maps.
