Description

The bridge is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. The bridge was documented to have been constructed by the WPA and the original design and materials of the bridge are unaltered, with hand-labor workmanship evident in the masonry substructure and guard walls. The bridge is a good representative example of masonry-element bridge construction during the Depression, as part of an urban park development project.(Bridge NRHP Eligibility Report)
