Description

This bridge is considerably lower in elevation than the new US 129 bridge. It is normally completely hidden from view by Chilhowee Lake and is only viewable when the lake is drawn down for dam maintenance. Viewable in 2008 and again in the fall of 2015. For being under water for about the last 60 years, it is in remarkably good shape and can be walked on with ease.

Also viewable is a pair of pilings for what I'm guessing was a rail line that is no longer in existence.
