This reminds me of something that happened when I was younger and still living in Adams County, Ohio. There was this small creek-crossing bridge near a town called West Union, and they had it closed off during the flood season because the water crested and pretty much drown the bridge and some idiot driver (a young boy of like 18 or 19) drove into it in the middle of the 2nd night's storm despite a huge sign that said Bridge Out and nearly made it across until his engine stalled and the truck he drove got slammed into the side of the bridge. He was on the news being "rescued" then fined for illegally crossing a bridge marked as Dangerous LOL.
this what happens when the state decides to remove a bridge and replace it with a UCEB. We are nearing the bridge speeding up, and boom no bridge and its game over. I blame it all on the uceb.
