Description
Originally built as 3 through truss spans with approaches on both ends.
In 1951 an overweight truck collapsed 2 of the through trusses, which were then replaced with temporary Bailey trusses. In 1955, as a new bridge was being built along side it, part of the temporary bridge collapsed with the truck driver being killed.
