Savannah Riv/Co Rd In Ga Bridge

Wrong identification; wrong location . . . This is not the Louie Morris Bridge below Hartwell Dam along U.S. 29 on the SC/GA border .. . Rather, this 1956 photo is of new construction along a re-routing of U.S. 29 and where that roadway crosses the Saluda River between Anderson and Greenville Counties. . .This bridge and a "twin" has been incorporated into I-85/U.S. 29.
