About Me

Website: http://www.weatherstorm.net

I have been a bridge enthusiast since I was about 6 years old, where I called Truss Bridges "Double Bridges" and always pointed them out on family road trips. I discovered this site in 2011 and it rekindled my interest, I had no idea such a site existed where bridge-geeks could come together! So I went out on a few short expeditions in KS and OK and have started to take pictures of bridges, primarily truss bridges.

Looks like recent inspections have forced KDOT to close the bridge. I have updated the description to reflect that. Story here: http://www.jeffcountynews.com/2013/04/kdot-forces-county-to-shut-down-two-bridges/

According to the Atchison Globe, traffic is now flowing across the new bridge.
