I think there was another bridge, just west of this one over the Big Vermilion river.

Mike, this looks like the same bridge I listed as the Backbone road bridge. I have it alternately called the "Red Bridge"

The county has rehabilitated 3 Historical bridges in the past 2 years(with some help from government grants). It's a shame that this bridge couldn't be rehabilitated or moved to another area.

I stopped by this bridge Saturday and the rehabilitation seems to be going along well.

I was very surprised when I stopped by this bridge today. The bridge has a new road, new deck and a fresh coat of paint. The new bridge is almost done too.
