Valley Road Bridge
Posted November 9, 2010, by Alexander D. Mitchell IV (lner4472 [at] verizon [dot] net)

The iron truss of this bridge is little more than non-functional decoration surrounding a plate girder in modern times.

The railroad has been threatened with foreclosure, with an adverse petition for abandonment filed by holders of an estate lien against the railroad property and corporation. The bridge should be considered in jeopardy and in need of a preservation campaign.
