art,i think I got this bridge confused with another bridge.i did go on the map and seen it where it was or is supposed to be.
This is what happens when listen to (and believe) consultants that have nothing but $$$ on their mind!
This is a beautiful location and would be better served with the historic bridge left in place... I shudder to think of the ghastly MOB that will likely take it's place!
They initially were going to PRESERVE this bridge as would have been logical and sensible, but they caved in to the Special Interests of the MOB Industry.
We have photodocumentation of the bridge here, although our narrative is outdated.

Same bridge. Pin on map has been moved to correct location. Google Earth photographs frequently are several years old. If the paper says it what scrapped, I believe it.
Barry,
Are speaking about the same bridge? In the article I posted, it states the bridge was scrapped.

Art S.
The bridge and the Township road are considerably south of the pin location. The bridge was still on Google Earth last night. By the looks of the approaches and the bridge itself, it had been abandoned for very many years.
thanks art for the information.another bridge gone.
George,
It was scrapped.

Art S.
art,do you know if any work was done on this bridge?i looked on the map and cant even find it.
Missed this one:
Too bad they did as much work just to scrap it:
