Description

Bridge purchased along with rail line from Conrail for preservation by Central Pa. Chapter National Railway Historical Society ca. 1980. Central pier undermined and collapsed in flood in January 1996, and two girders were removed and placed atop the third and forth spans. Contract issued in 2013 for rebuilding of this bridge, completed in Sept. 2013, for proposed freight service to the north by local government rail authority. Operated under auspices of Union County Industrial Railroad, contractor for rail authority.
