Description 

Opened by pedestrians 6 PM Oct. 5, 1907, by horse & buggy 4 AM Oct. 7, 1907. Traffic estimated at 7,500 yearly in 1911, 11,000 daily 1957, and 15-18,000 during Northumberland bridge reconstruction & detour in 1956. Tolls abolished on replacement bridge 1957.
