George,
Im going to walk back my previous statement about the cars being gone. I think I was looking at an earlier photo not later photo, sorry
Royec
Royce,I plan on being up in that area later this year because i do alot of fishing up in that area and my fiancee wants to go to the railroad museum up that way.I was basically curious about the bridges, rail and railcars. Also if you say the cars are gone then the rails are probably being used.I've seen rails down here in Reading Pa being used for storage. Thanks again,Royce.
Luke,I have a couple of questions.First,I followed the rail and saw a spur that deadended at the coal yard which looks like it's being used partially by Lackawanna recycling.I noticed rail cars behind the building. Are they abandoned along with the rail? Also I saw another bridge which i was wondering if it was also on bridgehunters. Thanks for any help.
Luke, thank you for the bridge you listed.
I took a look at this bridge and noticed another bridge next to this one.Is the other bridge I saw on Bridgehunter?
Part of the Marvine Colliery.

Okay,Royce.Either way when I get up there I'll find out for sure if anything is running on the rails freight or passenger wise and especially look at the bridges. The covered bridge i really want to look at.Steamtown might have some information on anything rail and bridge related.
