Heron Branch Bridge
Description
Frederick Fleming Unger in "Old Bridges of Franklin County" notes that the a marble slab was salvaged from the bridge. It read, "4 M ro Shippensburg, 6 M to Strasburg" Obviously it was talking about Upper Strasburg (not Lancaster County's). Unger does state this bridge crosses the Conodoguinet, but it actually crosses Muddy Run. The distance to Shippensburg is exactly 4 M and the Greenawalt's Mill structure still exists
