according to the reading eagle dated 11-30-14 discrepancies have been found with this bridge while repairs are being done pushing back the completion date.crews found thicker concrete than on the original 1981 makeover plans which means the project will take longer because of winter limits on what can be done.expected finish on this bridge project is late spring or early summer 2015.while one side of the bridge will be open during construction,it should not affect the traffic.the $13 million dollar overhaul includes a facelift, structural repairs and a new bridge deck along with fixes to improve safety on the pedestrian walkways.as of now this is all the information i have.if i hear or read anything i will print it here.
