The McKees Rocks Bridge is located over the Ohio River between Ohio River Blvd (Route65),the City of Pittsburgh and over the Bottoms Section and RR tracks connecting to Island Ave.(Route51)McKees Rocks. Said to be the longest bridge in Weatern Pennsylvania.
This bridge resembles the Hell Gate Bridge in New York City. I wonder if the designer of this arch took cues from Gustav Lindenthal. As an avid fan of bridges like most people who enjoy this website I look extra close at the bridges. I check this site as frequently as I check my email. Mr Baughn, you are the bridgelovers' friend!
