Another interesting span bites the dust.

I had to chuckle when I saw the 2008 inspection for this bridge, and the deck was rated very good 8/9. If you look closely at picture #4 you will see a deck that is patched with any and everything that was handy. Looks like scrap plywood, maybe road signs, and possibly pieces from the highway supervisor's kids' treehouse. These pictures were taken less than a year before the inspection.....which just has to make you wonder how accurate it really is! Might have been performed while sitting at a desk using the previous inspection numbers and "adjusting" them..........
