Yes, these bridges take some work. They don't maintain themselves. Hats off to J.P. for talking with the landowner. Preserving bridges takes partnerships. We have to build good relations with landowners, especially in states where these bridges get conveyed to private landowners.

Stone abuts and wingwalls suggest a pre-1900 span. He will need to cut those trees out if he wants to keep it around for a while, as the roots are damaging the substructure.

A gentlemen named Kevin Decker contacted me and He bought the land this bridge is on and provided me with the photos. He was able to verify that the bridge existed on his 70 plus acres because of this website.
