Description

I suspect this was a near identical bridge to the one 350' to the North over Sans Bois Creek which is a Pratt Through Truss. The only remains are both North and South Abutment and a portion of the collapse concrete deck. We obtained property owner permission from the end of N4320 to make the hike in. I suspect he may not have owned the bridge proper property. Always respect fences and property. Damage and leave nothing.

Mill Creek Bridge

The 1948 Shell Oil Oklahoma highway map shows OK 2 as unpaved and not crossing the county line. The 1969 topo shows a paved road crossing into Pittsburg County and this route as an unpaved road. This is almost certainly the old alignment of OK 2.
