NS Cincinnati Junction Scioto River Bridge
Posted June 10, 2014, by Mark Lee Southworth (south [dot] worth [at] mail [dot] com)

seeing how the peoples tax money built that bridge and its not been used for years maybe decades, the people want to make a bike trail and that bridge is it.it would b cool if you turned it over to a guy like me that wants to make a nice bike trail and has no other motives.connexmoves.org has a map of potential routes.the people would have to finance it so it mite not ever take off anyway.i hope they dont give control to local business men and politicians, scioto county is the mingo county of ohio.there is a reason why portsmouth was voted the worst city in ohio and business men and politians are the reason why.they have cursed this town for over a 100 years, they wont let anything new or better happen here.they red tape you to death if your not in there club.so if you let me or someone like me have controll it probably wont ever happen anyway.i say let the people who are going to use the trail make the route.its our city we can put it wherever we want to.we dont need someone who hasnt rode a bike in 30 years making the trail, and only see's dollor signs all up and down the trail.
