Paul & Tony,

Van Zile was built in 1883. Its hard to tell from the images if the portal design matches, but if it does this Whipple was built between late 1882 and early 1884.

Regards,

Art S.

Thanks, Tony! Van Zile Road is exactly the bridge I thought of when I was looking at the portals of this one too.

It does seem to share some similarity to the Van Zile Road Bridge in Allen County, Indiana. I would say to add Massillon as a "Possible Fabricator".
