Maumee River Bridge
Posted October 10, 2011, by G. Ben Paxton, II (paxton43204 [at] cs [dot] com)

The former I-280 Drawbridge IS the Governor Craig bridge. This bridge is now attached to Summit St at the Northwest end and to Front St. in East Toledo at the Southeast end. It was considered that the Glass City Veteran's Skyway would entail too much driving for those close to the river so it remains. Glad for that! I recall one time in the 1980's a Tarta Bus driver noticed the movable deck moving, well, more than it should. The bridge was closed for a while that summer for emergancy work!
