I agree with fellow pontist Tony Dillon. This bridge should have been left alone...

And to add to that shame, a Columbia Bridge works span in Howard, OH (Knox Conty) a through truss in Mt. Blanchard Ohio all completely bypassed..but yet demolished. Very frustrating!

This absolutely beautiful little bridge was destroyed for no apparent reason. The road is closed off with no replacement bridge. Was possibly the last example from the Cincinnati Bridge Company. A complete shame!
