To be honest with you I think ODOT is just as bad if not worse then Penndot. They just got all the good bridges torn down in the 1980s. I can name off the top of my head at least 20 bridges near the Washington County area in Ohio that got demolished.

If I remember correctly, 1922 is the year that the King Bridge Company ceased operations. If that is the case then this would have been one of their last contracts. It is rather ridiculous that this unique span wasn't at least saved for pedestrians...in a park nonetheless!
