This bridge was actually named the Coldbrook Bridge. It spanned the Esopus Creek from Coldbrook Road on the west to Rt. 28 on the east. Nissen Lane is the name of a subdivision road nearby. The bridge was closed to traffic in the 1970s. It was taken out by Hurricane Irene in 2011 and came to rest downstream.

If it isn't bad enough that historical bridges are being destroyed at a feverish rate by modern day humans mother nature herself is also having her way. Very sad loss
