Barnes Avenue Railroad Bridge
Posted June 28, 2020, by Mike Niethe (michaelniethe [at] gmail [dot] com)

This is an abandoned car bridge that is just a few feet north of Oriskany Street in the City of Utica.

This bridge once carried vehicular traffic on Barnes Avenue over the present day CSX tracks.

This bridge is in poor condition.

There are two open manholes on the sidewalk portion of the bridge. The open manholes can be seen on the satellite view.
