Update Log
- November 22, 2021: Updated by Tony Dillon: Added category "Whipple Cast+Wrought Iron Arch/Bowstring"
THIS IS A SMALL SUBSET IN THE WHIPPLE CAST AND WROUGHT IRON CATEGORY. MOST OF THE BRIDGES WILL BE IN THE CAST IRON ARCH SUBSET. THIS (WIDE WATERS CHANGE BRIDGE) MAY HAVE HAD A WROUGHT IRON ARCH. OTHER INFORMATION FOUND TO DATE IS LIMITED. THE CREDIT FOR THE DESIGN IS AN EDUCATED GUESS. SQUIRE WHIPPLE DID DESIGN SEVERAL CANAL STRUCTURES THAT WERE BEYOND HIS WHIPPLE ARCH AND DOUBLE INTERSECTION TYPES.
