NH - Wappinger Creek Bridge

Description 

Former NYNH&H Maybrook Line connecting New Haven to Maybrook Yard via the Poughkeepsie Railroad Bridge. Abandoned as a main line after the Poughkeepsie Bridge Fire of 1974, demolished in the 1990s to make way for a widening of Route 55. More recently, a pedestrian bridge has been erected in its place to carry the Dutchess Rail-trail across the creek.
