Description

The local story about this bridge is that it was brought in from another location to span the creek just below where it is now sitting. However, because of easement problems the road that was to cross the bridge couldn't be built. Eventually the Highway Department built the road a bit to the south and constructed a brand new bridge. This bridge was abandoned and left where it now sits.
