Yes, despite some of the "aftermarket" repairs, this bridge does seem to be well maintained ( The paint is rather thick as if it's been repainted many times)
I wonder if it was originally elsewhere and "modified" to fit this "new" location, or to carry more weight?
it would be hard to tell without any sort of manufacture or highway dept. plaque
It has character, I like it :-)
Very interesting little bridge with some unusual modifications. The "Fish-belly" floorbeams don't appear to be original to this bridge and may have been salvaged from another span. If they are indeed original, then likely full-sized outriggers were removed (for whatever reason)and replaced with the current bents.
The signs may well be stop-gap repairs for section loss in the endposts.
Good to see they have painted it which should help it last for some time.
