Wabash Railroad Bridge #9 (second span)
Posted November 19, 2014, by James Holzmeier (wabashry [at] gmail [dot] com)

It appears the original structure was modified at some point during its lifetime, by extending the southwest deck, abutment & wingwall at an angle slightly to the south, thereby allowing the railroad to extend the roundhouse/coaling tower lead to the east. The new balustrade wall can be seen as a lighter color, in the photo.
