Description

Found searching Google Earth; pretty sure this has been moved here in 2013 (sign said so!) Prior to this there was a concrete low water crossing, that disintegrated. Bridge is easy to reach, about 1/4 mile off Hwy 79 on a dead end county road. Has a gravel low water crossing cut out for larger traffic.

The concrete abutments for the bridge were heavily damaged by flooding in May 2017. The bridge is currently impassable, leaving families stranded unless they have access to a 4-wheel drive vehicle capable of fording the creek.

Unfortunately, road 9111 is private and has never been owned by the county. The same is true of the bridge, so the county government says they can not repair it. This leaves the families stuck trying to raise $10,000 for new abutments and they are having trouble finding it.

Has one of those "Oops... I should've bought the 5 gallon pail of paint!" paint jobs on it.

I am good family friends of the people who live on this road and I am witness to the family moving in the metal of this bridge and putting it together with wood and screws from their own shead it is not the safest and i wouldnt recommend using it
