Saline Creek MO 17 Bridge
Posted April 6, 2012, by Mike (centmo3088 [at] live [dot] com)

It was announced in the local paper this week that the contract for replacement had been awarded. They plan to close the highway for the replacement because the new bridge has to be located in the exact location of the old one. This bridge is surrounded by land owned by the Missouri Department of Constipation which will not allow any realignment of the two 90 degree turns at each end of the bridge. They have forgotten if it wasn't for the taxpayers that travel this road they wouldn't have any revenue to "protect" their weeds and mudholes.
