Elk Springs Railroad Bridge
Posted January 12, 2009, by Tom Beckett (joyrider59 [at] yahoo [dot] com)

If this is the bridge I think it is, it has been replaced bya plate girder bridge with the tracks on the deck. The through truss has been gone for some time, though I'm not sure how long. I moved to Siloam Springs Ark in 2007-about 35 miles away-and go here frequently.

Replaced by plate girders, with new piers placed midway between original piers. This is on the KCS main line.
