This bridge has been replaced and the road is back open. No pictures as I don't have the heart to go and see the replacement.

As Nathan indicated in his previous post the time has now come. Modot has out for bid letting this month complete replacement of this bridge. Unfortunately it's going to be another plain old concrete bridge that replaces this old beauty. Project completion is currently 12/1/2012. :(

This historic bridge is slated for demolition in 2012.
