Miss Sheridan, assuming the bridge still exists and with the qualifications you mentioned, being either in S KCMO or KCK, small (one span), and with some sort of mosaic underneath, could it be this?
I have something to ask a little off topic from the picture: I used to live in KCMO near Grandview, when I was in high school. I remember travelling to either S. KCMO or KCK. There was this totally awesome bridge that looked like it had mosaic on the underside of it. It was a small arch bridge, sorta in the ghetto. I cannot find any info on it anywhere. Do you happen to know what I'm referring to?

I got some pictures of the bridge (SW Main St), but wasn't sure how old it was. It looked fairly modern, so I didn't bother to add it.
IIRC this bridge and the roadway bridge parallel to it were built ca. 1980 when 2nd street was cut down to create an underpass. Police and fire could not cross with a train present without going up or down about a mile to a bridge.

Yes! The Shawnee Road Bridge is it! Thank you so much for your help. We have absolutely nothing like this in Arkansas, as far as the varieties of color goes, and it was one of the many things I miss from up north. Thank you for taking the time to find it. I was afraid I was never going to see it again!
