Description
A rail line once ran from Westport to Dodson (near 85th and Prospect). It ran parallel to Wornall from 63rd St at Brookside to about 79th Street where it curved East. In the 1950s there was streetcar and some light rail traffic. It is now a walking trail from Dodson to the Plaza. Because of poor visibility at the intersection with Wornall, 69th St was closed under the bridge and a pedestrian walkway built.
