12/14/2014 (HOLT COUNTY , Mo.) A Mound City man was killed on Friday afternoon after a wooden bridge he was crossing collapsed.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Cory Ingram, 45, attempted to cross the bridge on his John Deere tractor.

The bridge, located on Memphis Road, collapsed as he crossed it, trapping him underneath.

Ingram was flown to Mosaic Life Care, but died from his injuries.
