Lyon Avenue Railroad Bridge
Posted June 4, 2009, by Greg Hall (cyclebay [at] aol [dot] com)

I suspect that this bridge was built in 1926, as the Grant street and National Avenue bridges are on either side and were built in 1926, but cannot confirm this. This serves the original, main rail line through Springfield, MO. This bridge appears to be built entirely from treated railroad tie type lumber.
