Description
The first bridge opened in 1925. It's companion for westbound traffic opened in 1935. A new eastbound bridge opened in 1959 but the old westbound bridge continued to carry traffic on the North Service Road until 1973. A sign on the approach warned "Caution - Careful Driving Required. Even though the road has been re-aligned, this is still a very high accident area today.
