Driving over the Jefferson City Bridge 2004 and 2014

A Bridgehunter.com exclusive! Here's video of me crossing both the Southbound and Northbound sections of The Jefferson City Bridge in Jefferson City. The Southbound lanes were recorded in 2004 in SD and don't look all that great, but the Northbound lanes were recorded in 2014 in HD and looks absolutely fantastic!

This video came to me in a MoDot Email. It shows a video of the original, 1955 bridge being built. It is about 40 minutes, but worth it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-N3woUdiG6A

They have completed the bike lane on bridge on the north bound lane. It now a quick and safe trip from the Katy trail across the Missouri River to Jefferson City without having to dodge cars and trucks.

This is the bridge that is featured in the Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis movie "Hollywood or Bust". After they cross the Mississippi into Missouri at St. Louis on the Hwy. 40 bridge, the film continues with a shot of them going across the Missouri River on this bridge (the 1st one) at Jefferson City, Missouri.
