Bois Brule Creek Bridge
Posted June 25, 2013, by John O (bigtex144 [at] yahoo [dot] com)

I've seen this bridge a couple times when I've gone on bike rides in the area and have been really intrigued by it. Why was it built? Is it the old overpass for Highway H? It doesn't really look like it's on the same alignment as Hwy H, as this bridge goes straight off more towards the east where Hwy H goes south and curves to the west. But I have no idea what other purpose it would have served in the past.

If anyone has any history to share, I would love to hear! :)

The bridge is in better condition than its replacement.
