Abandoned two-span through truss bridge over Black River near Hendrickson

Abandoned and overgrown with kudzu, but reachable on foot
History
Built 1933-34 as part of a realignment of US 67. Closed in 1965 when a section collapsed after being hit by a truck; was reopened in 29 days. Replacement bridge built 1976.

Probably because there is more traffic on the US 67 bridge. This bridge I guess was never paid any attention too. Instead they need to cross the river by using the US 67 bridge which is much faster.

i heard ppl get arrested for being on this bridge althought their arent any signs telling u to stay off of it lots of brush and bees and such to get to it, but if u make it, its pretty cool, a 4 wheeler would be good
