Lost two-span pony truss bridge over Pomme de Terre River south of Warsaw
Benton County, Missouri
Site of bridge is now under Truman Reservoir near the MO 83 crossing
Built ca. 1934; replaced in the 1970s by a new bridge with the creation of Truman Reservoir

My family had a house at Racket near Warsaw, on the Grand river.

I rem my father talking about Fairfield when i was younger.

Something about high water at Warsaw once and my parents could'nt get to Warsaw. They had to go by way of Fairfield to get to Warsaw.

around the mid 1960's when I was Ayoung boy my brothers and sisters and myself would swim under this bridge sometimes joined by our cousins who lived in Fairfield some of my best memories were made in this small comunity.
