Haymaker bridge
Posted October 3, 2008, by David Smothers (davidsmothers [at] msn [dot] com)

My great grandfather worked on the crew that built this bridge. He told my mother many stories about walking around on top of the superstructure while it was being built. This bridge, and the other two Pratt Truss bridges close by (CR2211 bridge, and CR 460 bridge) are all basically identical to each other. I have a picture of myself standing on the bridge with the river behind me, but unfortunately, can't see much of the bridge, except a 3 foot section of railing, but like I said, this bridge looked no different from the other two mentioned earlier in the message.
