Thanks Joe. I've posted an article about these bridges as they were one of my favorite places to visit during my days attending high school in nearby Marshall: http://thebridgehunter.areavoices.com/2014/10/16/the-soon-to...

Hopefully MnDNR or the county or both will have second thoughts on this topic.

Redwood River Bridge at Camden State Park

Spoke with a guy from the Minnesota DNR last week (10/2/14). Lyon County is planning to turn over ownership of the road and the three pony truss bridges to the DNR very soon. It is likely that the bridges will then be replaced, probably with concrete and a form liner that resembles cut stone.
