CP - I-494 Bridge
Posted May 19, 2021, by John Marvig

This example of an early Interstate era railroad grade separation is scheduled to be replaced in the near future. 494 in the southwest metro is one of the biggest choke points for traffic in the Twin Cities, and MNDOT had identified this bridge as an obstruction to solving these issues. Not a huge loss, but another early Interstate structure to be replaced.
