This bridge is NOT on private property since the county road commission maintains its right-of-way ownership. However, the bridge is severely deteriorated at the endposts to the point that we decided that removal for storage and restoration was too dangerous to attempt given our process for removing a truss bridge intact. It may be possible to salvage some parts of the bridge for research, education, and restoration work if and when the bridge collapses.
