Mike, I just noticed the embed doesn't list the date, so maybe note the date in the Essay title. I edited this one.

I've now put that to use on another span upstate that I knew had a usable "historical" view.

Mike,

I discovered that a workaround is to set the view to the historical street view, then use the share feature to get an "i-frame" embed HTML code, then add that code to BridgeHunter by adding an essay and pasting that code into the essay body. I have done that here as an example.

The bridge for which this page was created can be seen in a 2014 StreetView by opening up this location there and changing the image time.

Unfortunately, that view can't be put as the embed here, because the limitations of embedding don't allow for that adjustment be set as the view.
