Kalamazoo Street Bridge (1894)

The Kalamazoo Street Bridge, which was formerly located at Michigan Avenue, makes a final return to Michigan Avenue in 1904 as a wrecked victim of heavy flooding. In this photo the Kalamazoo bowstring can be seen slamming into the arches of the Michigan Avenue Bridge.
